How my research impacts research practice

My research generally uses econometrics to analyze marketing data through the lens of microeconomics (and a little psychology). This approach is used to derive insights into consumer behavior and to determine "optimized" marketing ecisions.

How I have worked with businesses

I have worked with a variety of companies on pricing, advertising and targeting. Some of this work was for research and some purely on a consulting basis. I spent 2 years as an Economic consultant for Yahoo! and have been working as a consultant with Amazon since 2018 in their "consumables" division.

How I like to collaborate

Research collaborations are a top priority if a company is interested in conducting field experiments that would enable us to assess the causal effects of marketing instruments reliably (for measurement and attribution purposes). I am also happy to give workshops and talks depending on my availability of relevant curriculum and expertise.
