BIO

Dr. Natalie Chisam is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s College of Business and a Research Fellow at the Sales and Marketing Strategy (SAMS) Institute. Her expertise lies at the intersection of marketing strategy, data privacy, and public policy, with a focus on how firms manage consumer data and respond to evolving regulatory environments. Her scholarship employs a range of empirical methods—including econometric modeling, meta-analysis, and experimental design—to evaluate firm performance, consumer behavior, and regulatory effects. Dr. Chisam’s research has been published in leading journals, including Journal of Marketing, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Harvard Business Review. Her research has been recognized with multiple awards, including the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business Emerging Scholar Research Award (2026), University of Nebraska–Lincoln Department of Marketing Faculty Research Award (2026), and finalist recognition for the Sheth Foundation Best Paper Award (2023). Dr. Chisam has received multiple teaching awards. She also serves as Vice Chair for Engagement for the American Marketing Association TechSIG.
