EXPERTISE

Consumer Behavior & Insights, Marketing Experiments

How my research impacts research practice

I study how consumers make decisions about food and health, with an emphasis on surveys and A/B testing/experiments. For example, I have studied topics such as when and why consumers want natural products and what types of messaging can nudge consumers to make more healthy choices. Additionally, I have studied how consumers' moral intuitions influence their decisions (e.g., about sustainable products, genetically engineered or "GMO" products, etc.)

How I have worked with businesses

I have collaborated with a variety of companies both to help design A/B tests to increase customer engagement and interest and to design surveys to better understand customer needs.
